SOFRIQ Publish can publish scheduled posts to Facebook Pages you manage. Before creating a schedule, connect the Facebook account, select the required Facebook Page destinations, and save the connection.
This guide explains the complete process, from opening Facebook authorisation to reconnecting or adding more Pages.
What Facebook Account You Need to Connect
You need a Facebook account that can manage at least one eligible Facebook Page. The personal Facebook profile is used for authorisation, while the managed Facebook Pages are the publishing destinations.
Before starting, make sure that you:
- Are signed in to your SOFRIQ account.
- Can sign in to the Facebook account you want to authorise.
- Have a Facebook Page role that allows you to manage and publish to the Page.
- Have at least one eligible Facebook Page available.
- Have a Facebook account and Page slot available in your Publish Plans.
- Can complete the Facebook permission request during authorisation.
If you are not already signed in to SOFRIQ, log in to your account or create a SOFRIQ account first.
Facebook Account and Page Destination
A connected Facebook account is the Facebook profile used to authorise access and load your available Pages.
A Facebook Page is a publishing destination. SOFRIQ Publish needs both the authorised account and at least one selected Page to save an active connection.
For example, one Facebook account may manage several Facebook Pages. The account occupies a connected-account slot, while every selected Page occupies a destination slot.
For the shared account, destination, authorisation, and Pending Channels concepts, read How to Connect Social Channels with SOFRIQ Publish.
How to Open the Facebook Connection
- Sign in to your SOFRIQ dashboard.
- Open Channels from the dashboard sidebar.
- Find the Facebook channel card.
- Check the current channel status.
- Select Connect.
SOFRIQ redirects you to Facebook to begin the authorisation process. If a Facebook account is already connected, the card may display Reconnect or Add More instead.

Authorise SOFRIQ to Access Facebook
After selecting Connect, Facebook asks you to sign in and review the permissions requested by SOFRIQ.
Review the following information before approving:
- The Facebook account selected for authorisation.
- The Facebook Pages SOFRIQ is allowed to access.
- The permission required to publish scheduled content.
If the details are correct, complete the Facebook approval process. SOFRIQ then loads your Facebook account and its available Pages.

What Happens if Facebook Authorisation Is Cancelled
The connection cannot be completed if you cancel authorisation, close the approval window, or decline the required permissions.
To try again:
- Return to the SOFRIQ Channels page.
- Select Connect on the Facebook card.
- Sign in to the correct Facebook account.
- Review the access request and Page permissions.
- Complete the approval process instead of cancelling it.
If Facebook authorised SOFRIQ previously but Page access has changed, use Reconnect or Add More from the Facebook channel card.
Complete the Pending Channels Session
After successful Facebook authorisation, SOFRIQ redirects you to the Pending Channels page.
The pending connection process has two time-limited stages:
- Facebook authorisation: complete sign-in and permission approval within 10 minutes.
- Account and Page selection: review and save the available accounts and Pages within 15 minutes.
If the authorisation or selection stage expires, the pending connection cannot be completed. Return to the Channels page and reconnect Facebook.
For a complete explanation of Pending Channels sessions, read How to Connect Social Channels with SOFRIQ Publish.
Select Your Facebook Account
The Pending Channels page displays the Facebook account found during authorisation.
- Review the Facebook account name and profile information.
- Confirm that this is the account you authorised.
- Select the checkbox beside the Facebook account.
- Check the connected-account usage shown on the page.
- Confirm that your plan has an available Facebook account slot.
Selecting the Facebook account alone does not complete the connection. You must also select at least one eligible Page and save the selection.
You can review your plan and account limits on the SOFRIQ Account page or compare Publish plans.
Select Facebook Page Destinations
Facebook Pages are the destinations where scheduled posts can be published.
- Review the Facebook Pages loaded beneath the selected account.
- Select the Page where you want to publish scheduled posts.
- Select multiple Pages if your account manages more than one destination.
- Check the selected Page count against your remaining destination limit.
- Select Save Selection.
Use Select Available Destinations to choose available Facebook Pages automatically within your remaining plan allowance. Review the selected Pages before saving because all available Pages may not be intended for publishing.

Facebook Account and Page Limits
Your SOFRIQ plan determines how many Facebook accounts and Facebook Pages you can connect.
Account and Page limits are separate. An available Facebook account slot does not guarantee that another Page can be added. Your Page selection must also remain within your destination allowance.
Plan information may change. Review your current limits on the Publish Plans.
Finish Connecting Facebook
After reviewing the Facebook account and selected Pages, select Save Selection.
SOFRIQ validates the account and destination selections against your plan limits, saves the connected account and Pages, and redirects you to the Channels page. A success notification appears with this message: "Your selected accounts and destinations are now connected."
The Facebook channel status then changes from Not Connected to Connected.

What Happens After Facebook Is Connected
The connected Facebook account and selected Pages can then be used when creating or editing a SOFRIQ Publish schedule.
Before activating a schedule, confirm that:
- The correct Facebook account is selected.
- The intended Facebook Page is selected as the destination.
- You still have permission to manage and publish to the Page.
- The Page still appears in SOFRIQ.
- Your account and destination selections remain within your plan limits.
If You Are Not Redirected to Pending Channels
If Facebook authorisation is complete but SOFRIQ does not redirect you to Pending Channels:
- Confirm that you signed in to the correct Facebook account.
- Confirm that you completed the Facebook permission approval.
- Check whether Facebook authorisation was cancelled.
- Return to the SOFRIQ Channels page.
- Select Connect again and complete the process within the authorisation time limit.
If Facebook Pages Are Missing
A Facebook Page can be missing if the authorised account does not manage that Page or does not have permission to publish to it.
Check the following before reconnecting:
- The Facebook account has an active role on the Page.
- You are using the correct Facebook account for authorisation.
- The required Page permissions are approved.
- The Page can be managed from Facebook.
After resolving the Page access issue, return to the Channels page and select Reconnect or Add More.
The missing Page should be loaded again during authorisation. Review and select it before saving the Pending Channels selection.
If Facebook Pages Are Not Publishable
A Page may appear but not support the publishing actions requested by SOFRIQ. Confirm the Page role assigned to your Facebook account and review the Page publishing permissions in Facebook.
The available publishing destinations are limited by SOFRIQ’s ability to verify the Page and required Page permissions. If access changes, reconnect the Facebook channel.
Reconnect or Add More Facebook Accounts
Select Reconnect or Add More when you need to:
- Refresh expired or changed Facebook permissions.
- Add another Facebook account within the account limit.
- Load a Facebook Page that was newly created or shared.
- Restore access to a Page that stopped appearing.
- Review Page destinations removed from Facebook access.
Complete Facebook authorisation again, return to Pending Channels, review the account and Page selections, and save before the selection session expires.
Common Facebook Connection Problems
Facebook Authorisation Session Expired
Facebook authorisation sessions remain available for 10 minutes. Restart the connection from the Channels page and complete sign-in and permission approval within that time.
Account or Page Selection Session Expired
Account and destination selection remains available for 15 minutes after authorisation. If the Pending Channels page expires, reconnect Facebook to create a new selection session.
The Facebook Account Limit Is Reached
Disconnect an unused Facebook account or upgrade your SOFRIQ plan before connecting another account.
The Facebook Page Limit Is Reached
Remove unused Page destinations or upgrade your plan to increase the available destination allowance.
Facebook Authorisation Was Cancelled
The Facebook authorisation request was cancelled, or the required permissions were declined. Return to the Channels page, reconnect Facebook, and complete the approval process.
Facebook Could Not Load Pages
This can happen when required Page permissions are missing or Facebook access has changed. Confirm your Page role in Facebook, reconnect the channel, and approve the permissions again.
The Facebook Channel Shows Not Connected
Confirm that you completed the entire connection process: authorised Facebook, selected an account, selected at least one Page, and saved the Pending Channels selection.
