How We Store Data
Legal Entity: SOFRIQ TECHNOLOGIES (SMC-PRIVATE) LIMITED
Last updated: October 2, 2026
This page explains what Sofriq stores for its main apps, where the information is handled, and what deletion options are available. Sofriq uses third-party providers to operate these services. Depending on the provider and its configuration, information may be processed in a country other than your own.
Publish
Publish stores connected social account and destination details, such as platform account IDs, names, and selected boards or pages. It also stores the content and timing of scheduled posts, their destinations, and publishing results so the scheduler can operate and show your history. Social access tokens are encrypted in Sofriq's database and are used by the server to perform actions you authorize; Sofriq does not store your social-platform password.
To remove a connection, sign in and open Dashboard > Accounts, then disconnect the account or destination. Disconnecting removes its active connection from Sofriq; it does not delete the social-platform account or posts already published there.
Temporary Connection Data
When you connect Pinterest, Facebook, or Instagram, Sofriq creates a temporary confirmation record. It helps match the approval from that social platform to your Sofriq account and prevents the same approval from being reused. This temporary record is not your social-platform password.
- If you do not finish approving the connection, the confirmation expires after about 10 minutes.
- After approval, temporary account details stay available for about 15 minutes while you choose which account, page, or board to connect.
- Once you finish connecting, the temporary setup record is removed. The connected account remains in Publish until you disconnect it.
Convert
Convert stores a history record in the application database, including input and output file names, formats, sizes, processing status, and references to related media. Source images can come from your Media Library or from a URL you submit. A remote original is added to your Media Library only if you select the option to save it.
Save to Media applies to the converted result, not the source image. A source file that is already in your Media Library stays there; saving a remote URL's original image is controlled separately when you add that URL. If you leave Save to Media off, the converted result is not added as a saved item in your Media Library. Sofriq still uploads a delivery copy to Google Cloud Storage and records its file reference in conversion history so it can provide a download link. That link expires after 10 minutes, but link expiry does not delete the stored file. ZIP downloads are also uploaded to storage. To request removal of a converted output or ZIP that is not in your Media Library, contact support@sofriq.com. Saved converted files can be managed in Media Library.
Media Library
Media Library file contents are stored in Google Cloud Storage. The application database stores related metadata, including the owner account, file name, content type, size, dimensions, source, visibility setting, and storage reference. New media is private by default. Upload URLs are short-lived, and generated download links expire after 10 minutes.
Media can be marked Public or Private. Public media is intended to be accessible to anyone with its URL, including visitors who are not signed in. Private media is intended to be available only to its owner in an authenticated session. Do not share a private media URL or use Public visibility for files you do not intend to disclose.
Files moved to Trash can be restored or permanently deleted. Items left in Trash are scheduled for deletion after 15 days; you may permanently delete an item sooner from the Trash interface.
Third-Party Services and Location
Sofriq uses the providers below for specific features. A provider receives information needed for the relevant service; this does not mean that every provider receives all information held by Sofriq. Provider processing, retention, and international transfers are also governed by their own policies:
- Google Cloud Platform: Google Cloud Storage stores media and conversion files, and Google Maps Platform Places processes business-search queries and returns listing details. See the Google Cloud Privacy Notice.
- Google Vertex AI (Gemini): When you request AI-generated post text, Sofriq sends the image or images you selected and any text context you provided to Gemini. Google's terms say customer data is not used to train or fine-tune its models without prior permission or instruction. Separately, Google describes temporary in-memory caching for service performance and possible prompt logging to help detect abuse. These are service operations, not model training; their application can depend on your Google Cloud settings and terms. Requests may be processed in configured regions including
us-central1andeurope-west4. Review Google's Vertex AI data-governance documentation and Cloud Service Terms. - Google services: Google Sign-In supports account login, and Google Analytics measures website usage. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Google Search Console: Sofriq uses Search Console reports to review site-level search performance, including clicks, impressions, click-through rate, average position, queries, and pages. This is a Google reporting service, not an in-app feature that receives users' uploaded images or post content. See Google's Search performance report documentation and Privacy Policy.
- MongoDB: The application database stores account, publishing, conversion, media, and lead records. See MongoDB's Privacy Policy.
- Cloudinary: Used for selected image uploads and delivery, including profile or site imagery. See Cloudinary's Privacy Policy.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram): Receives authorization and content-related requests when you connect or publish to those services. See Meta's Privacy Policy.
- Pinterest: Receives authorization and publishing requests when you connect and use Pinterest features. See Pinterest's Privacy Policy.
- OpenAI: The OpenAI API processes niche text submitted to the Redbubble tag-generation feature. Review OpenAI's Privacy Policy and its API data controls documentation.
- Paddle: Processes checkout and subscription payments. Sofriq stores Paddle customer/subscription references and transaction records needed to manage billing. See Paddle's Privacy Policy.
- Sentry: Used for application error monitoring in preview and production. The current configuration enables default personally identifying context for diagnostic events. See Sentry's Privacy Policy.
- Hostinger: SMTP is used to send service emails. See Hostinger's Privacy Policy.
Data-storage locations depend on the provider and the service being used; some providers may process data outside your country. See the provider policies above for details. For questions about a specific request or service, contact support@sofriq.com.
